sabel founded the MandeLaw office in 2017 with the purpose of offering clear, strategic, and humane legal guidance, combining her deep knowledge of the Brazilian and American legal systems with her personal experience within the judicial system. Her mission is to make the legal process more accessible, understandable, and empathetic, promoting trust, security, and justice for each client.

Her career path includes significant experiences, such as the beginning of her career in the Connecticut State Attorney General’s Office, where she worked defending the interests of residents in cases involving civil rights, medical malpractice litigation, and habeas corpus, in both state and federal courts. She also worked with administrative agencies of the Executive Branch.

Later, Isabel joined an international law firm in New York, working with the senior partner in the Latin American Banking and Finance area, where she developed expertise in international corporate transactions.

Isabel holds a law degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and completed her Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Connecticut School of Law in the United States.

A Brazilian and American citizen, she is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and possesses a keen understanding of the legal needs of multicultural individuals, families, and businesses.
